i'm really impresseed with this. it feels different from the usual fantasy. first, there was the trial run, and then sean actually explaining things before they made their full year together. and viggo wanting the whole run, including the ancient (eventually) sean. i was somewhat surprised that he did not die at at some point in winter. the true death was avoided, and spring-ly sean arrives, in all his teenaged, nubile-male glory. nice. when, at they end, they are transformed to different forms, i was so sure how i felt about that, sad, maybe, but then what do i know about being a tree? i guess i wanted them to be together for ever in human or fairy form. please don't take that as negative. normally i don't write a book, so you've inspired something here...
