I love every bit of this but, for whatever reason, have the images of the hats - Seans being carefully hung up and Viggo's falling aside, unnoticed - stuck in my mind. It seems to sum up everything in some ways and looks forward as well. I'm probably making no sense at all but that's what stays with me. Well, that, and the wonderful turns of phrase you use, the sounds of the horses being riled by what's going on nearby, the latch of the stall door behind them, the way Viggo's "stubble scattered away from the old scar that cut across his lip", the biting, the urgency. Very, very, very well done and I enjoyed it immensely!
