This is such a wonderful, beautiful fairy tale. You've made it all so very vivid. I felt Viggo's loneliness and the change Sean brought and then the pain and sorrow he felt when he lost him. Seeing Sean age was difficult but how much it says about their love that he let Viggo care for him as he declined. I think that for the caretaker, it is often a simple - although painful - decision; letting anyone else care for someone they love is unthinkable. But for the sick or weak, I think it is a harder thing to allow, and it speaks volumes that Sean allows it year after year. I loved this.
